Between college and prom, I’m getting kind of stressed.

I’m not exactly quite sure what to do with this stress, either. I can’t paint, because I’m done with that shit.

Hm maybe this is a sign that I have to hit the books. Homework,  I mean. I think it’d be nice to study a little bit to get my mind off life right now.

Regardless, it’s loads of fun being all gossipy and shit with prama. ‘Cause it’s prama.

Hopefully I’ll go with someone. Hahahah the future looks bleak but I’ll ask again after all this college shit, aka next week. Just to make sure.

The bad thing about prom is that it’s screwing with my feelings a lot and I’ve become very like ASDLFKJWLKEJKRJE DICTATOR shit. Yeah I don’t think I like anyone that way. At least today.

It’s been a while since I’ve used that one. lawlawlawlawlawl. Eeeeeeek I love TOP’s hair in this commercial because it’s the same as it was in Uhm Jung Hwa’s D.I.S.C.O which is SO HOT. Like ohhhhhhhh my goddddddddd.

I realized yesterday that I have been able to triple jump for the longest time, just that my energy has been put in the wrong place for my jump. So now I feel like I can jump 30 consistently even without trying. ‘Cause I can jump like 26 from just jogging, which is fucking sweet. =DDDDDD

I finished my Pygmalion paper at around 12:30, which was good timing for me. Went straight to sleep after that and slept like a log for six hours.

Woke up ridiculously tired this morning. However, overall I had a very satisfying day; Horace, Dave and I (and Kathy, to some extent) made jokes in Econ the entire period by drawing in Horace’s APE. Every time Motz made a joke, Horace and I took that as our cue to burst out laughing because our sides (or at least my sides) hurt from shaking with laughter. I think we were all a litle tired from the research paper.

Best news ever today was that Whitten won’t be here for the rest of the week because her grandchild is getting born (yay!) and she’s going down to DC to wait. Oh, I am so happy. So, so happy.

I don’t understand why I don’t like her so much. Well, I do, but I’ve never felt odiousness for any teacher, let alone a teacher for English. Maybe it’s the amount of work she gives? McDonald gave a ton of work, but it was useful work, because we actually would go over it and she would write constructive comments. Whitten gives me a 42 out of 50 and tells me to change my writing style. My style is fine as it is.

It’s not that I’m just being stubborn, either; I really do like my writing style, and it’s perfectly clear, unlike what she may think. According to her, my style renders the text imprecise, and by  changing it I can convey my ideas better. Well, considering I didn’t want to waste paper, I confined my answers to one page. I used enough words for me to be able to look at my responses and relay them to my discussion group, to be clear to myself. I wrote down clear quotes that I could build upon if I needed to write a full-blown essay on any one thing. I’m not going to waste time writing explanations if it’s just a homework assignment, and I’m going to build on it through discussion anyway. Which I did. And she gave me a 40 out of 50.

I did put effort into the assignment. It’s not like I BSed it. I just put down key points that required little elaboration, and she accuses me of not being clear enough.

I don’t care that I got a 42 out of 50; it’s that my style was the reason for my 8 points off that irritated me. I can write. She knows I can write.

Maybe I’m bitching about this because I’m a 3rd MP senior and I can’t take criticism like I used to, because I think I’m close to perfect and ready for college. Or maybe the whit is not as passive as she makes herself out to be. Which she doesn’t.

Regardless, idk why I was kind of pissed at the assignment in general. It’s not like she took off half credit.

…she insulted my style in an effort to improve it.

Enough about that class…I care enough to not completely BS the entire thing, but I don’t even know what she grades anymore.

I love 2PM. Like…they’re nothing compared to Big Bang, but they’re so…awesome I can’t take it. Taecyeon is by far my favorite right now; he speaks ENGLISH! Yee!!! So does Jae Beom, and he is seriously black but not really but he lived in Seattle. Woot. Woo Young is probs my favorite Korean Korean member, because he’s so LOL in the 10 points out of 10 video. Which I have watched almost as many times as Haru Haru. I can’t wait for them to release their new single…IN DECEMBER. GAHHH FUCK.

I also found Super Junior’s comeback song “Sorry Sorry” quite catchy but the rabidness of ELFs (SuJu fans) repulsed me. Besides, there are 13 freaking people. It’s a colony.

TOP’s family was rated the best looking family in the Korean celebrity world of today. Yay. His sister is really hot, though. Yes that was not a creepy statement.

I have AIME tomorrow. It’ll be good time, because idk what I’ll be doing. Hahahaha I got 3 out of 15 questions. The good thing is, I’m pretty good at the geometry questions so I guess I’ll just focus on those.

I’m kind of giddy about getting the rest of my college decisions back now, since I know I can go to perfectly good schools even if I don’t get into Harvard and Yale and the like. Although UC Berkeley would be freaking awesome. I want Horace to get into a good school, too.

Thinking about prom but still haven’t decided when’s the right time to ask. Because prom IS in three months. That is quite a while. Maybe April.

Holmdel drama is loldel drama. Especially when it doesn’t concern me and when it is Asian drama.

The hurdling juniors need to stop acting like they’re badass and ignoring the rest of the group when stretching and doing drills  because they’re just looking like people who just disrespect. And that ain’t cool. Plus it makes them look like bitches and hoes.

Kev’s video was rather funny after I got the general gist of where it was going.

I’m just writing until I get enough inspiration to finish my poem for Lit Mag. Haha I am such a procrastinator.

I need to find some time to make a rough sketch of what I’m painting for Mrs. Butler. I also need to lose these five (or eight?) pounds that I still have from winter break. God fucking dammit. I know it’s all fat, too.

Wow now I feel kind of depressed. Dumb Whitten.

This MV is so crackish it makes me happy. It reminds me of Dirty Cash, and there are gratuitous shots of Big Bang (well, mainly Dae Sung lawlawlawl) being super silly. The song is pretty damn good for a remake of an eighties song. Ah, TOP and GD’s rap really does wonders for overly poppy songs.

Argh I can’t wait until the rest of this album releases. Probably sometime later tonight holy crap.

btw TOP has his RAP!style back on, which makes me super happy. He looks all cool again! Not like he didn’t look cool in the first place, but he looks more chill now. Hm must be because he’s 21 now. =D Happy birthday, TOP-oppa!!!

I’ve toned down on the big bang a little bit, but Rose has definitely caught the big bang craze like no other; she’s watched more vids than I have. T__T GD’s D.I.S.C.O pt. 2 was released today; it’s cool, but not as cool as TOP’s. Which obviously proves the significance of my tag.

Ahh only two more free days! T__T Where has this summer gone?! lawlawlawlawlawl.

Oh geez; I also need to make up a design for the ciaociao shirt. Hm. Have to do that before school starts.

Tennis is working its way back slowly into my muscles.

Haha I feel like I’m going to enjoy working at Shrewsbury mucho. Just need to know where everything is. =D

two weeks? or so

Sorry I haven’t been updating…I’ve just been so busy first with Japan and all that excitement, then with Big Bang’s mini album coming out.

I will save some space and fangirl only for about 200 words.

Big Bang has outdone themselves once again; I didn’t expect their mini-album to be so fresh. Although I had a dream fear that they would just remix Lie, they came out with 하루 하루. I like it better than Lies (which was OKAY imo), and the lyrics/MV made me cry are so sad. OH MY FRIEND also wins at introducing a whole new genre to Korean boy band music. Stand Up is my favorite intro song. The song Heaven is so addicting, and LADY and Good Man make me laugh because they’re so cute.

Also got the Big Bang birthday stuff from Horace and I have opened every cd. Hahaha their CD/DVD covers are so trippy; they’re not like…normal cases xD. I’ve watched SO MUCH BB youtube vids these past two days that I haven’t done any work…at all. Oh well. G-Dragon definitely got hotter with his mohawk. I am ecstatic that TOP went back to his short hair style…and he looks amazing in vest + t-shirt. I have become re-obsessed with G-Ri, because it is adorable and G-Dragon is a bully. TOP is still number one; he wins all with his bad boy/adorkable kid looks. Geez, Big Bang is AWESOME.

Okay now that that’s over with…(exactly 200 words? I think so) I should get started on my college essays. Hahahahhaha. But I must. Although I do have a doctor checkup thing tomorrow (haven’t done one in two years whoops). In any case, went to Horace’s house on Mondaaaaay to watch the meteor shower (2 am woo) and it was AMAZING!!!!!

Gerg came over like an hour before we left for Horace’s and we just like…chilled while he nagged me about looking at some of my doujinshi. Maybe some other time, Greg…hahaha I’m surprised I still hold out on not giving Greg any of the yaoi I read because he already knows that I’m not normal T__T

I am continuing to lose weight! Which is good. Although today I ate quite a bit for dinner; I basically just binged on bagel bites and taquitos and chips…because the day before I didn’t eat dinner. Haha I only ate a muffin at Horace’s house and like ice cream. woot. Not healthy, but…what am I supposed to do? Pageant’s in three days.

Yeah so ANYWAY went to Horace’s house and basically hung out with everyone on the planet (not really because I am jk), and sleeping in a tent in a friend’s backyard is so exciting yet so lame at the same time. xD In any case, I only had two hours of sleep because we stopped looking at the meteor shower around 4am and I just like…woke up at 6 for no reason. Oh well; I got to talk to Horace (in very hushed voices because everyone else was sleeping) for like an hour, which was fun.

Borrowed Lust, Caution from Horace’s mom (lawlawlawlawl)…it’s pretty NSFW (not safe for work), but since it’s something by Li Anchi, I kind of have to watch it. Uhhh I will wait until I am not doing anything. Which will probably be Friday or something.

Tennis hasn’t been going too well, but at least I’ve held out (my serve is good enough so I win points by that). I mean people are just assuming it’s ’cause I haven’t played tennis/have severe case of senioritis (which I do), so I can play however I want. And yet I still recollect what Nenad said, which is good. I just have to relax, swing slow to fast, swing away from me in a circle, move my feet, and make sure my contact point is correct. It sounds easy, but I still have to concentrate on more than one vague objective at a time. OH WELL.

I also uploaded a crazy amount of BB and WG and SHINee stuff to my iPod because I have nothing else to do with my life. Seriously, that’s what I’ve been doing instead of…reading all those summer reading books and doing all those college essays.

Hm. Pageant in three days. Should get working on that. I also have Singles tryouts when I get back (…SHIT), which means that I need to remember how to play tennis. That will be…fun times. NOT. T__T Actually I’m almost back to where I was; I have to get more confidence and RELAX. They’re only Holmdel, GEEZ. Need to be a starter like whoa. Maybe tomorrow I can play like an hour of tennis with Rose? It helps a little bit; I just need to rally with someone so I can get the feel of like…hitting shots with different speeds and moving my feet and stuff. Wow why do I suck at life; how did I even get myself stuck in this situation? I feel like this is the time and regret that I spent all of my summer in California trying to get my forehand back and losing my confidence and skill in the progress. And I didn’t even get my forehand back.

Well enough angst about my tennis (何どかなるって), looking forward to doing some work starting…now.

This is the second time I’ve deigned it fit to watch something online…and that something is SBS Good Sunday’s Family Outing featuring Dae Sung and G-Dragon.

However, the only problem is, I think it’s at 5:30 pm Korean time, which would mean it’s 1:30 am California time. I wasn’t really sure, so I just have TVants open right now. I’m watching SBS Inkigayo (music comeback stage)…and it is so not worth it without Tae Yang T__T Oh well, Uhm Jung Hwa, SHINee, and Lee Hyori are performing, so at least that’ll be a kick. Hopefully TOP is performing with Uhm Jung Hwa? That’s be pretty hot; I love TOP in a suit (with pimpin’ kicks) more than I love him in street clothes (street clothes as in pre-Lie days).

What was my point again? Oh right; I guess I’ll keep this window open while I write my essay. My hope is to successfully complete two pages (which I certainly can do) while listening to shitty music on Inkigayo, then to return to this post and rant/fangirl while some artist I like is performing.

I work a lot more productively when I’m watching something I don’t want to watch/listen to.

More on this later.

There’s more to fangirl about with G-Dragon ’cause he does so much seductive shit while with TOP it’s just like…you have to love him ’cause he’s so amazing.

epic dream

I HAD SUCH A SUSPENSEFUL DREAM I WANT TO DIE RIGHT NOW.

Uh. So in my dream, the day was today, Saturday, July 26th. I had to start/do/finish my Italian essay. However, I was in the Chinese supermarket or something, watching azn tv. And we’re watching some form of azn mtv. Maybe it was Mitsuwa. w/e.

Regardless, the next thing that comes up was…

BIG BANG’S COMEBACK MVs!!!

They showed us Haru Haru, which was like a cute ballad featuring SHINee and some other people. Then right afterwards, they had this completely hot rap and r&b song and IT WAS SO SEXY. Although I had to leave afterwards so I was like asldkmflwkmfsd. THE THING IS, I CAN’T REMEMBER WHAT THE SONGS SOUNDED LIKE!!! T__T So my prophesizing was for naught, because I am a remembering!dream failureeee.

Anyway, the supposed Haru Haru ballad’s MV was like really bright and altogether very SM company type. I think the thing that kind of gypped me was that there was more SHINee in the video than Big Bang…like I heard a lot of high voices. However, G-Dragon was in the MV and looking fly in white.

The OTHER song was omfg in the style of “Stand Up (Intro)” so it was FUCKING AMAZING. I saw TOP like twenty million times and he totally looked like how I imagined him to be in his killer role in the upcoming kdrama, “Iris.” Fucking pimping it out in black biking jacket and black suit pants with awesome kicks. Aguhsdlkwefs. He had such a large rapping role, too…it was drop dead gorgeous. I loveeeee TOP’s voice. It’s just so low and ATTRACTIVE.

Well anyway it turns out that Big Bang was distributing the minialbum complementary with Reese’s peanut butter cups (with a yellow wrapper on it [LOL THE FIRST TIME I WROTE WRAPPER I SPELLED IT RAPPER LOL xD]). I decided to give my mom a present of Reese’s stuff,
and she was like cool…which one do you want? And I was like okay obviously this one *chooses* AND THEN I HAD THE BIG BANG CD!!! asldkfmlwkefd so I showed it to Rose and she was totally like okay you’re kind of creepy. And I was like no, I’m not creepy. Just obsessed.

So we were rewatching the MVs to the two songs (so…sexy), when all of a sudden I had a flashback to some place where I got kidnapped! It was in a forest; I was actually part of an Indian tribe. They were like “okay. Either 12 people die or you dig all of your graves by sunset.” And I remember thinking to myself, I have to quickly finish digging so I can wait eagerly for Big Bang’s new mini-album release.

Then I woke up ’cause it was already 9am and I went to sleep at 2am ’cause I was talking to Gerg. Ohhhh Gerg, how we have crazy shit to talk about all the time.

Anyway, I think what this dream means is that Big Bang and SHINee will NEVER collab together…just because it’s totally SHINee and their youngest member is like 14 wtf. And I’m actually really really SUPER nervous for this new mini-album. Like I have no idea how it’s going to sound; as I recall from their other two mini-albums, two or three of the songs are absolutely amazing and the other three or four are like ehh. Their intro is always good, so I was really happy when I heard “Stand Up.” But anyway, I hope there’s a song on this mini-album that’s up-to-par with Lie and Last Farewell…’cause they totally have to have something like that. Big Bang just can’t be a two-hit wonder and die. They’re too awesome.

I mean, I was talking to my mom about it yesterday. About Big Bang, I mean. ‘Cause like a couple of days ago I told her that BB was releasing their album on August 1st, then today I was like oh they pushed back their release date cry. So she was like “How did you even find out about them? Did you discover them before they became insanely popular? Are they even popular in Korea?” to which I was like “Yes they’re like the most popular group out right now; I kind of knew them because I had downloaded it on my iPod then one day I was randomly listening to all of the songs on my iPod and I suddenly discovered that This Love, Always, and some other songs were really good. And so, I decided to research more about them.”

Mom kept asking me questions about them, and at the end she was like “Oh, cool, so they’re all really young, but pretty talented. I mean, each one has a different role: the leader actually produces and writes lyrics, one guy raps, one guy sings really well, one guy can choreograph dance moves, and one guy has a good body and is really good at dancing. Wait, but how did they get their inspiration for their music? Were they born outside of Korea?” and I was like “No, they’re all Korean-born. But their company mainly focuses on this sort of r&b, hip-hop, and rap. Thus, Big Bang just basically combined Korean mainstream and American mainstream and turned it into their sort of style.” And she was like “that’s pretty cool.”

Ahhh, I love my family. My mom and dad listen to the Big Bang (and various other korean artists) I play on the car; they randomly use Big Bang references such as “I’m so sorry but I love you” and “Baby baby baby.” lawlawlawl. And Sarah…oh, Sarah. =D She totally has followed in my footsteps as a Big Bang fangirl, and she can do some of the dance moves with me. Her favorite is TOP, too, followed by G-Dragon.

I don’t even know what it is about G-Dragon…he’s not like attractive, but his (side) profile is SO SEXY. And he just has that charisma and attitude that you’re just like “damn…that’s hot.” asldfwed I think it’s because he’s super skinny, and he’s got that walk down. Mmmm. And hell, his English sucks, but he sounds so sexy rapping it.

TOP, on the other hand, has those goddamn amazing eyes. Like they’re soooooo pretty. Hahahahaha ’cause he’s got that natural eyeliner look going on (no lie), no matter how gay that sounds. He’s also really funny, both in his shy way and his outgoing way. I also love him in his baggy clothes (BAPE FTW) and his style of rapping. Like it’s so fresh, and he doesn’t use traditional rapping methods like G-Dragon. Ugh and his voice is so low and JUST FRICKIN AMAZING. Like G-Dragon’s presence comes out with his rapping, while TOP’s feeling oozes through his rap.

Okay going to dye my hair now. omg why was this post so frickin long? Must be the whole fangirl in me coming through. Again.

Happy belated birthday, Horace!

ufghhh I can’t believe there are still eight days left until I leave California. I can’t take it anymore; this competitive atmosphere in both academics AND sports. wtf. Like I love it here; great food, great weather, great shopping, but the problem is, I haven’t gotten the chance to experience any of those things! ‘Cause I’ve been so busy taking summer classes and doing (minimal) college work and playing tennis (and reading manga) that I haven’t been able to shop like I’ve wanted to. Which means that I have um. No new clothes to wear to Japan? hahaha that’s the least of my worries; I was planning to get new bangles, ’cause my green bangles that I wear all the time are chipping like no tomorrow (they were really cheap) and they’re turning into goldgreen color. Oh well. At least I got sunglasses? They’re pretty. =D

I now know two of the six tracks on the mini-album…I hope it’s worth waiting and doing countdowns. That’s what my worst fear (for the moment) is: Big Bang’s new album NOT being what it’s anticipated to be. Ughfghhh but since it’s GD, it should be okay…I really want to listen to the song that TOP produced, though. Hmmm I’m pretty surprised Big Bang’s actually producing the album themselves; usually, with big music artist-turned-celebrities, there aren’t that many who actually produce, write lyrics, compose, etc. Yay Big Bang for being original.

SHINee is so ridiculous. They’re like DBSK slash Big Bang five years younger. A feat to accomplish, certainly, considering that Big Bang’s average age is 20. Yes; the youngest member of SHINee, Taemin, is freaking 15 what the hell. Wait, is he even 15?! He was born in 1993. Their single song is very good, but the rest of the single isn’t so good. Ohh well; I look forward to hearing them in the future.

omg Japan!!! so excited like no tomorrow. Rose reserved tenimyu tickets for us (!!!), and I want to watch it SO BADLY because it’s freaking HYOUTEI! Okay, sure, the classic hyoutei actors aren’t going to be there (cry, Saitou, Aiba, etc etc etc), but that’s OKAY! It’s still a chance to revert to tenimyu fangirlness.

I really hope I can listen to Big Bang’s new album before I leave for Japan…hopefully the time difference between Cali and Korea enables me to download it right before I go to the airport. OR I could dl it in Japan…but I’m going to Osaka over the weekend to visit my relatives.  Yay relatives! second cousins and all that.

Okay this post was way longer than I anticipated; I just basically ranted about everything that was on my mind in a failed attempt to waste time.

Also, Management Science? sounds really interesting, but as of right now, the only college that I’m interested in that offers it as a major is Stanford. Coincidence: Rose was also interested in the same major when she applied to Stanford. Hm.
