So I decided to start actually writing down journal entries…instead of blogging. Yeah that failed completely. I guess I might as well; when I’m eighty and dying, it’s probably easier to read a book than to go on the Internet, which might be obsolete by then.
Procrastinating on my essays! Because I got deferred from Penn. Nothing I can do about it, but it still pisses me off a little. I still have like 3.5 left to write and edit and finalize, then I’m done. The rest of my colleges seem pretty good; all my short answers are decent, and the caltech essays are the only ones being frickin annoying. Like, the Stanford one I just can’t bring myself to write, and the Cornell one I’m procrastinating until I finish all of my other ones (because I decided to apply to Cornell on a whimsical note…yeah idek).
I downloaded a bunch of like random crazy anime movies and jdramas and live action movies that I plan to watch over winter break. Plan to. Actually, at the rate I’m going with my college essays, I should be done with them by Friday (no lie, seriously) then I can send them out over the weekend and be DONE WITH THEM, fucking shits. Sorry; that profanity was unwarranted.
Then after that I can go hang out at Greg’s house every day, after I complete my anime/jdrama/movie sprees. I mean I obviously re-discovered FLCL so I have to watch it. Have to. I also d/l-ed ergo proxy (the manglobe effect) and samurai champloo, so I have to watch those. Well, samurai champloo not so much, because I love that series to death and I’ve watched it more than twice. All the way through.
My christmas presents sucked. Like I feel guilty now because they suck so bad. aslkdfsldkem. Like I’m working now so I have money, but I’m not even using it ’cause I’m saving it for college spending money. How is Christmas in like friggin three days and we still have this school business going on? We’re not even doing anything anymore.
Goals for break:
MON. 12/22: Finish (at least) Caltech prank essay, get 75-80% through Stanford-specific essay.
TUES. 12/23: Finish Stanford-specific essay, do Caltech engineering essay (4 hours?), research Cornell’s Human Ecology and ILR schools.
-11:50am – school ends. Go coffee with Horace and Greg? Mom probably won’t even let me T__T;
-1:00pm – get home (hopefully? most likely earlier), finish Stanford-specific essay
-3:30pm – bus for basketball game against RFH.
-7:30pm – get home, do Caltech engineering essay
WED. 12/24: Edit all essays, do Cornell-specific essays.
THURS. 12/25: Christmas woohoo, finish editing and shit, do more Cornell-specific essays.
FRI. 12/26: Finish essays, damnit.
SAT. 12/27-SUN. 12/28: Send out all college stuff.
SUN. 12/28: Watch Waterboys and Go!, read La Casa de Bernarda Alba.
MON. 12/29-TUES. 12/30: Watch Ergo Proxy. Do some homework.
WED. 12/31: Watch The Cat Returns. New Years’ Party? Yes please. Start reading Pinocchio.
If I can follow this roughly, I will win my own life. Oh please, Paco, do something for once.
