in a fangirling mood

So I decided that I would finish all of my homework today, that way I could just focus all of tomorrow on college essays: mainly, writing my optional for upenn and editing/rewording/rewriting all of my other common app etc. essays. ‘Twill be good times.

But what I ended up doing today instead of doing homework was fangirling….like omg lawlawlawlawl. I still have like three radio shows left to watch, but I learned that Seung Ri is apparently the most mature of the group laaawl what a loner.

Ha. Caitlin is so silly. Not like the black song.

School is going okay. I’m glad to see I’m not failing Physics. Although apparently I will fail math, because 90-40 = 60. It’s okay; I can use a calculator next time laaawl. I also got silly mistakes, but 93 overall, which is fine by me.

…I want to watch all of the KM Idol series (4 eps on big bang). It’s okay. I’ll wait. For um…time. Maybe like two weeks, then I’ll be fine.

I downloaded Cherry Filter and they are AMAZING. Korean alternative rock band, strong female vocals (NOTHING like Paramore), emotion pouring out through every chord and every beat. Wow I can’t believe how old this group is; like 6 years old? Still going strong. Gotta love them.

Work is going good. I actually LOVE working at shrewsbury. It like makes my day.

Okay no more because I’m talking on gchat. laaawl.

Finally!

I got around to filling out all of my teacher recommendation shit!

Now I have two hours to write my Italian autobiography. Hrmmmm time management.

In other news, I’m probably going to put off all my other homework until tomorrow. Yay for school trips. =D

fairly subtraction

I’ve actually been able to do a lot of work for the past three days, partially due to my internet at home completely blowing out so I completed one (ONE!) college essay for penn, which I’ve firmly decided to be my early decision. Chances are I’m not going to get in, but it’s good to hope anyway. I mean I really really REALLY want to go to Wharton 1. because environmental analysis and management sounds really awesome, 2. because it’s an Ivy League, 3. because of future career much, 4. because I don’t want to worry about the rest of senior year.

lawlawlawl

My mom fell asleep while flipping tv channels. So now since I can’t find the remote, I’m stuck watching some wrestling channel where the fights are all staged, the fighters all wear weird masks, the girls are all mentally psychotic and poor actresses, and no one follows the rules.

Oh, American culture.

well.

It HAS been 7 years.

Why does the media always make it seem like it was only yesterday, or last year?

It feels like it was only last year. Time passes by quickly.

Pretty soon it’ll be a 20-year anniversary, and our children will only learn it as part of history and not as part of our lives.

9/11.

laa

even though I actually did a significant amount of work today, I still wasted two hours because I fell asleep reading econ. T__T

good thing is, I finished editing my Whitten stuff and writing my cover sheet for that class.

I also ordered the shirts for ECO (I hope to GOODNESS that they come out okay…T__T)

I also bought an AP Psych prep book and AP Physics B+C. Yay good times. ‘Cause according to Linda, McCracken’s class is a joke and doesn’t prep anyone at all for the test lawlawlawl.

Oh, I decided to order an Italo-American version of Pinocchio so I can return my copy to signora. I feel like I’m going to break it or something lawlawlawl.

‘kay going to sleep.

this is totally how i stop updating

So I decided to cut back on fangirling AT LEAST this one week so I can get some work done: i.e., those college essays that I wanted to do ALL during the summer but never got around to. Because I was fangirling.

Anyway, no Big Bang this week; no music, no videos, no checking up on the website, no verbal fangirling. I’ve only mentioned them a couple of times today to show other people that I was trying my best to not have anything to do them for AT LEAST five days.

I actually LOVE all of my classes this year because I have my favorite kids in them. Like seriously…Italian is always kickass, and Econ will be funny because Frank Liu, Mike Lee, Bryan C, Crisalli, KevKerwin, and Gregg B are all in the same class. Haha win at life.

Then I have four consecutive classes with KevHsu!!! Haha it will be good times; I can feel it already. ‘Cause we didn’t really talk much last year (nor the year before? I don’t remember), but he’s a pretty chill guy…I mean, at least to me. Whatevs. Keller seems nice? idk. AP Stat will be a JOKE…Gillon is sooo dumb xDDD and besides, Justin Levatino sits next to me!!! which is perfectly awesome.

Psych is made of pure win. Mrs. Cerqueira-I mean, McCracken-is HILARIOUS. Our class is huge, but I have a class with Sam Liu this year! and Chris Ma just makes fun of me…from across the room? Whatevs. And Niti sits next to me. >=D Oh, and TingTing is finally in one of my classes!!! WAHOO!!! (It also seems like an incredibly easy class). I’m not sure on Whitten yet, but we have pretty good discussion-proficient kids in our class so it should be good times.

And finally, Spanish…I absolutely ADORE Sra. DeVito. She makes me feel…INADEQUATE in Spanish! Like, I’ve never felt like learning Spanish is actually learning a language until this year, because now I actually have to pay attention in class!!! Man, DeVito is awesome. On the first day she completely owned all of us because we didn’t know what she was saying. xDDD

Saw Mr. Kinch today and chatted with him about light and total internal reflection; he’s cool as always! I’ll probably be seeing him a lot to ask about physics problems. T__T;

Okay homework now, since I won’t be going all big bang now. =D

AP English Summer Assignment Words to the Wise:

Start Now! Set up a reading and writing schedule so that your work is done in
advance. Schedule this time on your calendar, and plan to finish your work early.

whoops.

Oh well, thank goodness I’ve only the Growing Up essay left to write. Oh, and one of the psych books, but whatever. Not bad for starting last week.

whoops college essays whoops.

I’ve toned down on the big bang a little bit, but Rose has definitely caught the big bang craze like no other; she’s watched more vids than I have. T__T GD’s D.I.S.C.O pt. 2 was released today; it’s cool, but not as cool as TOP’s. Which obviously proves the significance of my tag.

Ahh only two more free days! T__T Where has this summer gone?! lawlawlawlawlawl.

Oh geez; I also need to make up a design for the ciaociao shirt. Hm. Have to do that before school starts.

Tennis is working its way back slowly into my muscles.

Haha I feel like I’m going to enjoy working at Shrewsbury mucho. Just need to know where everything is. =D
